TUV NEL has launched a new industry focused Emissions Club to help tackle the issues associated with the measurement of greenhouse gas emissions.
Emissions reporting provides a pivotal role in acquiring realistic environmental data and minimising financial exposure to stakeholders involved in international emissions trading schemes.
Latest Research Reports Available
Read the latest research reports under Flow Programme project FFRE41 which provide an insight into the measurement issues surrounding flare and stack emissions. As well as including a number of UK installation case studies, a comprehensive measurement uncertanty analysis has been carried out on the current methods used by industry.
The overall aim of the club is to drive forward improvements to bridge the existing technology gap in emissions measurement and emissions reduction techniques.
Key objectives of the club are to:
- Bring together operators, equipment manufacturers, regulators and experts
- Provide up-to-date information on technological and legislative developments
- Promote industry-wide best practice in emissions measurement and reduction techniques
- Provide continuity in the interpretation of legislation and information
- Formulate technology improvement programmes
- Hold focus group meetings to discuss latest developments
It will provide a collaborative forum, which will assist industry to achieving the current and ongoing obligations in a cost effective way.
